The Catherine Creek Community Center has received a large grant from the Ford Family Foundation (FFF) to support renovation work at our historic building. Projects include tree removal, masonry work, door replacement, water abatement, window covering, updating the kitchen and so much more.

The Ford Family Foundation partnered early with the Friends of the Historic Union Community Hall and have remain a consistent supporter of our work. The former Union United Methodist Church property was purchased as a result of a feasibility study funded the Foundation. While the feasibility study took place, the FFF regional coordinator worked closely with our nonprofit.

In addition to providing countless hours of planning and support, funding for a feasibility study and a large donation for renovation projects, the Ford Family Foundation has provided dollars for Community engagement exercises. The data collected from a survey and Community Meeting has been used to design responsive programs for local residents.

Thank you Ford Family Foundation for supporting the Friends of the Historic Union Community Hall in our efforts to serve the community of Union Oregon!
