As the year comes to a close, we reflect on the incredible impact our community center has made, thanks to your ongoing support. As we approach Giving Tuesday, we invite you to be a part of something extraordinary and contribute to the continuation of our vital programs in 2023.
🚀 Thriving Entrepreneur Program 2023 Embarking on a journey of entrepreneurship is a challenging yet rewarding endeavor. Our Thriving Entrepreneur Program, in collaboration with the Oregon Community Foundation, equips new businesses with the tools they need to succeed. Your donation can help fund classes, referrals, vendor shows, and individual consultations.
🏛 Historic Renovation 2022-2024 We’re preserving our community’s history through ongoing renovation projects, supported by the Ford Family Foundation. Currently, the restoration of our Stained Glass Windows is underway, a testament to our commitment to preserving the rich heritage of our community.
🍲 Union Food Pantry Every third Friday form 10:00 -11:00. Your generosity ensures we can continue to serve those in need with essential food items and support services. You can also make a donation to the Union Food Bank at Old West Federal Credit Union
🍽 Community Meals Join us on the second Friday of each month for a delicious community meal. With a recommended donation of $4.00. Volunteers serve community members and some families chose home delivery. The event is accompanied by live music!
👫 Youth Group Our weekly Youth Group, supported by the John & Ginger Niemeyer Foundation, Oregon Food Bank, and the Center for Human Development. Youth Group will begin again in Jaunary 2024!
🎨 Arts Programming Foster creativity and community connection with our painting classes, Art Center East classes, and upcoming Music Classes in Fall 2023. Your contribution helps us provide enriching experiences to adults and students alike.
📚 Community History & Memorial Wall Support the preservation of our community’s history through the Memorial Wall, honoring the Union United Methodist Church, CCCC, Union School, and local residents. Explore our online archive at www.Communityhistoryproject.blogspot.com.
🍳 Alumni Breakfast, Fishtrap Reads 2023, and More! From our annual Alumni Breakfast to the Fishtrap Reads 2023 program, your support ensures that we can continue to host events that celebrate our community’s spirit and foster a sense of togetherness.
