Senior Resources

Memory care communities provide a safe alternative for seniors living with memory impairment. These facilities are managed by professionals trained to care for Alzheimer’s and dementia patients, and they are specifically designed to accommodate older adults with progressive cognitive disorders.

Our memory care facility resource provides detailed information to help caregivers and their families in Oregon better understand what memory care involves and how to choose the right community.

Nursing Home Abuse Center was created to help spread awareness about the widespread problem of nursing home neglect and abuse. Protecting Seniors from Abuse and Neglect

Mesothelioma

Older adults are learning more about cancers and other health risks that might affect them. Age is the most significant risk factor for developing cancer.

People 65 and older comprise 60% of all cancer patients. To raise awareness, we recently published a Seniors Guide to Cancer that covers topics like wellness tips, the importance of seeing a doctor, and preventive measures.

Since seniors make up around 80% of those diagnosed with mesothelioma and it takes anywhere from 20-50 years after exposure to occur, we have created great guides for mesothelioma and seniors.
